The EARN & LEARN Summer Youth Employment Program (EARN & LEARN) started in 2007 and is designed to provide meaningful work experiences and career exposure to young adults ages14-24 years old, residing in Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee. To date, Employ Milwaukee, in partnership with Mayor Cavalier Johnson of the City of Milwaukee and numerous community partners and stakeholders, has provided paid EARN & LEARN work experiences to over 40,000 young adults in the community.
The program seeks to provide:

We are grateful for any level of giving to ensure our youth are well-equipped for thriving careers. Wages and stipends are $2,400 for a young person to participate in a transformative paid work experience through Earn & Learn. Through a sponsorship of $25,000 or more, you or your entity’s name will receive special recognition on our website.
This project is funded in part through a City of Milwaukee grant of federal community development funds.
